Abstract Books
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the second edition of the Hydrogen Ireland conference. Your presence here today is a testament to your commitment to advancing knowledge and driving innovation in the field of hydrogen research in delivering a balanced pathway to net zero emissions. This time around, we are delighted to have an academic speaker session to get an update on the state-of-the-art research happening around us. This would not have been possible without your continued efforts and on behalf of the Research Working group in Hydrogen Ireland, I want to thank you all for your contributions.
This platform provides a unique opportunity for networking and building lasting professional relationships. We encourage you to take full advantage of the opportunities to engage with fellow participants, engage in fruitful discussions and sharing expertise. As we embark on this journey together, let us remember the collective impact we can have on our fields regionally, nationally, and ultimately, on the wider world. The knowledge and experiences you bring to this conference are invaluable, and we are excited to see how they will shape the pathway to net zero.
Therefore, I want to emphasize to all participants to take full advantage of this networking opportunity to identify, the sometimes long overdue, needs for research. The island of Ireland hosts young, bright researchers in the field of green hydrogen ready to continue an academic track or embark on a research career in industry. Bridging the gap between industry and academia will ensure continuation of cutting-edge research and deployment in prospected emerging hydrogen businesses.
Warm regards,
